Yes indeed, I miss good old days, Dr.Thomas Verghese had ASD and used to travel to Kerala quite often. He became my very good friend, even though he was RMO, he always had special interest in my studies. My anatomy teacher was Dr.Gokhale, but he was 65 then, so I do not know if he is still alive? I have really faint memory of those days now, so many years have just gone by. The organon teacher was one female doctor with "ptosis", do you remember her name by any chance. She inculcated in me the great interest I have for "Organon". Has the BHMC building changed or renovated? In my days anatomy and pharmacy labs were just on first floor above offices on the right side of entrance next to the library (extreme right of the building), on left ground floor used to be big hall, where our materia medica and other debates used to happen. You know what, next time I am in India, I may just visit BHMC and you too.
Is Dr.M P Nathan, Dr.S M D'souza, Dr.Kodliwadmath, Dr.Virupakshi etc still there at BHMC, belgaum? Is Dr.Bhomaj still Dean? How is Kamal Basti now? Dr.Thomas Verghese used to be RMO at the hospital. Just going down memory lane...Please update me with news..My classmates were Shashikant Khammar, Mujahid Abbas, 1990 batch..Do you know any of them..I am trying to locate these guys.
Thankyou for your lovely welcome, and great news taht we may be soon able to counter the response" where's the science?" My work in the pharmacy made me reply many times " where is their science funded?" In the end the results of people not afraid to take charge of their own health is reward enough. Happy New Year
