Creating Waves of Awareness

Sometimes there are cases in which we get unexpectedly fast result from the minute doses of the homoeopathic remedies. Here under is described such a case. A gentleman of 35 years old came to seek my help on 3rd June 2008. He had a painless tumor on his right cheek for more than a year, as he informed. Few days ago it got inflamed and became painful as shown in the photograph produced below. When seen the tumor was about 2”x1½”sized. As it was hot to touch, painful and sensitive Belladonna 200 (C) was given to be taken every 24 hours.

When the patient visited on 6th June 2008, there was slight induration remaining at the site of the tumor. He reported that about 24 hours on 4th June 2008 it burst and the contents of the tumor discharged. Two powders of Belladonna 200 more were given to be taken at 48 hours apart. I intended to take final photograph of healed wound. But the patient did not turned up again, therefore I could not take the final photograph. Generally patients do not report again after they get well. Only in rare instances a patient reports with thanks after getting well.

Every medicine has produced opposite symptoms. At present I do not remember the rubrics for choosing Belladonna for this case. But in practice I have seen medicines curing opposite symptoms they are generally known to produce. For example Hepar sulph is said to produce and so to cure very sensitive eruptions (boils) but a tumor of elbow which was totally painless was dissolved in two and half months by Hepar sulph 200.

Thank you for this case study with image. We know belladonna for inflammation, acute pain, sudden high fever and pus formation. What is amazing is that we also use hepar sulph and silica for expulsion or absorption when there is infection. Can you tell us the rubrics used to find belladonna for non-painful tumor?
