Creating Waves of Awareness

Sweet memories of my visit to Debby.
A very sweet morning began refreshed, super cool, cheerful, light, airy, hopeful when I woke up from overnight’s sleep. Thinking about Debby. Felt like it is time to capture the sweet memories I had with her. Here you go.
With a strong desire in my mind, I asked God to provide me an opportunity to meet Debby personally.
My wish was granted from my husband and, I believe, that it was through God's will.
Hardly do I get an opportunity to travel alone. I must plan something special, an adventure to visit my loved friend.
Worried about cancellations of flight as there was a big snowstorm that week and up to 8000 flights got cancelled. Anxious. Excited. Impatient. Tomorrow is my flight. I was at the airport on time. Reaching and jumping to catch it before it touches the ground.
Reached the destination. Palpitations. Curiosity. Impatience.
Debby also eagerly waited to receive me. Hello Debby, I am here, finally to meet you in person!
Welcome. A huge HUG.
How are you? I was so worried about you. Great to see you getting well.
Got to freshen up and then lit the candle at Debby's house (which I do always at my home).
Debby's daughter (Sonia) helped her mom in preparing dinner of fresh salad, avocado dip, fresh cut fruits, cauliflower soup, grilled chicken, some Indian snack etc. I met Rob, Debby's husband, and we all sat at the dinner table, did prayers and had huge delicious supper. Rob made nice tea for every one. That was wonderful!
Debby thanked Vinod and the kids so much for letting me visit her.
We chatted for some time, then thought to make some Indian breakfast for tomorrow. How about Dosa?
I asked Debby what she has at home. We had sprouted lentils and rice. Soaked, grinded and fermented it so that we can have it for tomorrow 's breakfast.
Dr Rajneesh Kumar and Dr Deepak Sharma were very curious to know all the fun I am having with Debby.
Had a small conversation with them, appreciating and relishing all the time we had with Debby.
Debby showed me a gift, which she received from Dr Deepak Sharma's wife. It was a sari (saree). Let us have fun and I will put sari for you.
In sari Debby was looking so great and gorgeous. Wonderful look. Very grand, Deep and admirable look.
Then we both recollected all the sweet memories we had together and how much we care each other.
Went through her bookshelf, which is huge and had big collection of all books from experts.
Wanted to be with Debby all night and not feeling like going to bed but forced to sleep at midnight.
Woke up with a refreshing mind.
Debby showed me how she makes green juice. First time I had such a wonderful green juice with all healthy green stuff.
Then we thought of making Dosa. For it we need Chutney (dipping). We made chutney with roasted chickpeas, peanuts, and coconut powder. Seasoned it and served with Dosa.
They loved it.
Then we went for a walk.
Visited Debby's huge garden, tons of medicinal plants, in front of house is a water fountain and colorful wind whirl which is very soothing to my mind.
I asked Debby, “Shall I prepare Indian lunch?” She said, “Can you make something with Karela, Okra, tamarind, eggs, wheat flour?”
Sure, definitely we will make Indian dishes for lunch but it would be spicy and has lots of spices. Will it be okay for one day?
Debby- Yum...that should be fine.
Debby's husband (Rob) got the ingredients that are needed for preparing Indian dishes.
We had lot of fun in doing all the dishes (Roti, Karela curry, Okra fry, Egg curry) from scratch.
We all had nice Indian lunch. I am glad that everyone in Debby's family enjoyed the yummy spicy food.
Chatted for some time and then it was time for me to leave. Huge HUG and good-bye. Tears hidden in my eyes while I was leaving the place.
We both shared all the lovely moments we had together.
I pray and wish God to give health, long life and happiness to Debby.
