Creating Waves of Awareness
Many people believe that animals do not have mental ability to feel sadness or separation 'sadness' or anger or desire or food addictions. I will tell you that is totally wrong - animals will express all of the above - we have to learn to read their body language, vocals and physical message (fur, eyes, tongue, gums.)
Regarding separation anxiety, many animals have it, and the more sensitive and caring the animal, like poodles, shepherds and all guard dogs, the more they are affected. They often show it in tearing down the house when they are left alone and they will show it by stopping to eat.
We had a German Shepard that we adopted at 6 month she was left out by the garbage dump with her sister, her people just drove off, she had many problems like trembling when we went on a trip and stopped at a rest stop. She would not leave our side while just trembling.
Rescue remedy and Ignatia helped but the mental scar was deep. She was the best dog we ever had and died at 16 years of age. I invite you to tell us about your experiences with animals and their mental's.
