A Simple Method of Prescription.

It is actually a paper presented by myself in the Annual Scientific Conference of Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association - Kerala State Chapter, in the year 2007.

The method i am trying to explain is the basic Homoeopathic method with some additional tips from my part.

A statistical analysis of 279 chronic cases treated applying this method of prescription reveals that it was successful in 220 cases(79%). In this 220 cases the first prescription was effective in 190 cases(86%).

In this paper there are examples of successful cases (both a/c and c/c) like

Hypercholesterolemia
Nephritis
Cancer
Diabetes Mellitus
Azoospermia
Cystic Ovary
PCO
Conductive deafness
Urinary Tract Infection &
Jaundice

with supportive lab evidence.

I have included scaned images of some of my original case files too.

I hope even a beginner can understand and try this method because i have tried to avoid all the confusing aspects of a prescription.

This may contain errors - logical as well as technical. My humble request is that those who criticise should not follow the 'prick and run' pattern. Explain your points so that i can learn, correct and improve.

Dr Paul : In my early practice i began a case usually with 1M and 10M but occasionally tried 50M and CM, when i was more confident about the selection. The result i obtained with the highest potencies made me reconsider the potency selection and now i begin most of the cases with highest potencies.

Dr Piyush Kumar : Even small remedies are presented well in the modern repertories. If you consider such specific rubrics for working out a case - usually in acute - you could expect such short remedies in the repertorial result. Those medicines which are applied in physiological doses are not usually encountered in a repertorial result. Even then you statement may be correct - some clinically successful medicines are not given sufficient representation in the repertory.

Dr Sajjadakram : In the slides with scaned images, the titles were purposely omitted to keep the pictures in maximum size for readability. I don't remember any case treated primarily for lipoma.

Dr Wequar Ali Khan : Yes, I use my own software. Analysis of the remaining symptoms(PDF) in the above manner is also possible in my software. My method is more similar to Hahnemann's notes in the 'Medicine of Experience'. It is somewhat a 'Boenninghausen's way' or 'Boger's way' giving importance to the objective - confirmed symptoms. Sorry, I have no experience of OMD.

It is a good work. Only few symptoms are taken for case analysis and all of them are more prominent.
The cases are documented with lab reports which is necessary to confirm the effectiveness of homeopathy.
In case section the title of the cases is missing.

Result speaks better than words...and you showed this....the effect of well chosen remedy...on whatever condition it may be...hypercholestremia or UTI etc..

Very realistic and original thinking....practical approach.....i must say thanks and would expect more feedback and thoughts of other members....on this.I would also like to know of the use of small remedies which are not well presented in repertory..but they are well known for their specific verified symptoms...too.
