What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
After a break to have my children, I was trying to come up with a new idea for working part time without being on slave labour and doing something worthwhile. Literally out of the blue, the idea of becoming a homeopath just popped into my head. And within 3 months, I was on a course. That was in '95, and since graduating in '99 I've been in practice ever since. I came to Hong Kong in Jan this year, and am having a break until I cant resist any longer!

What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
My vision for homeopathy - that's a question! At the moment I'm feeling jaded by the overt attacks going on in the UK, but out here the CAM industry seems so much more accepted and mainstream that I feel encouraged. I suspect that it will only really start to flourish when the conventional model begins to disintegrate under the combined weight of insurance and new scientific evidence. But it will be a painful process. There is much to shift before the vast majority will be able to accept the paradigm of energy medicine. But it will.

Drastically. Not only has it changed the course of my health, but that of many members of my family to such a degree that it has altered our way of thinking in terms of health, illness and medicine permanently and irrevocably. And saved us from a lifetime of drugs. Not bad for a few little pills, eh??
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
Art, nature, philosophy, literature, film, music, gardening, socialising, theatre.

Homeopath in Germany who could help with a case of MRSA

Posted on April 14, 2010 at 10:32am 5 Comments

There is a man in serious trouble in Waldshut near Freiburg in Germany. He has a very nasty case of MRSA which, as expected, is not responding to a/b's. His daughter has asked if I know anyone who may be close enough to prescribe.

If you know of anyone, please get in touch.
Many thanks,
Lisa Griffiths

Hi Lisa. Well better lata than never.

About your I´m focussed entirely on homeopathy. However I consider that I should always keep in mind allopathy medicine to avoid ethical and legally problemes according to each clinical case. Example, I´m not suspend hypoglicemic drugs to diabetic patients.

Best regards

Hello Lisa;

So sorry about the delay in answering back. I have had a few personal challenges recently that required my full attention and for me to take a bit of a break from any extra curricular activity.

It fascinates me to hear about people who live in far away foreign places - well at least foreign to me. I have never been to the Orient. I see pictures of the Great Wall and the Yang Tse River and wonder at its beauty.

I know that Hong Kong is a very busy city with a huge population. I wonder how things have changed since the lease expired with Great Britain? Have there been any adverse affects? Or have situations improved? And how is Homeopathy looked upon? Is it well recognized or do you have to spend a lot of time educating and enlightening people as to its benefits?

I am full of questions. I hope you don't mind. I was a Travel AGent a long time ago and loved travel although I have never ventured toward the Far East. I love the study of cultures. It fascinates me.

Hope to hear from you again in the near future.

Warm regards

Welcome to our community, Lisa;
I found your comments on your vision for Homeopathy thought provoking and your story on how you became a Homeopath interesting. How did you end up in Hong Kong? Were you born there? Or did you move there?
Hope you enjoy your membership with HWC.
