Creating Waves of Awareness
Today, I experienced a remarkable phenomena.
Yesterday [a bit before] I came down with a flu which I expected from a previous experience to last a while [from the way it started and from past experience.]
I felt dreadful. I took early dose of echinacea tincture and tried a homeopathic flu formula, but got just worse.
As I was coughing tremendously and thyme/fenugreek /homeopathy did little to relieve, I decided to take one puff of Ventolin. Of course, in many cases this may relieve the cough if there is a spastic component, as I knew personally from the past.
What was weird: The flu improved dramatically within half an hour or so and the improvement lasted. The improvement and the rapidity was too fast to consider it a natural phenomena. I looked up in Julian if Ventolin was ever proved, but could not find any proving.
In the past, I occasionally used Ventolin, but it helped only temporarily for cough/breathing. I never experienced this rapid effect, which I can't relate to any other thing. Does anyone know of the homeopathic effects of Ventolin? Anybody with this experience?

Dear Dr Harold - I imagine that a proving would include all the side effects listed on the manufacturer's website.
Thanks you Mrs Debby for your reaction and suggestions.
Most of the side effects described are very rare except palpitations or some jittery feelings in sensitive people or if used to frequently. [and on has to be careful with patients with arritmia's]
I have a long experience with ventolin in the past with patients.
Again it may all be coincidence, but I was struck by a totally not expected rapidly "coming out of a bad flue" after one puff which was totally not in my mind [just took to make the cough some easier]
It may be just good luck or serendipity?
If anyone ever prescribes this op to his patients, you may want to look if you ever see such a reaction again.
