World's First Film On Homoeopathy- 'PRATISAAD'

Pratisaad was released to the public in Maharashtra on May 28, 2010 and illustrates the doctor patient relationship with a feature of Homoeopathy Medical Practice in India. INTERVIEW BELOW:

1. Dr. Nikam, What inspired you to make this movie?
Movies are good source of entertainment and it also has a mass appeal and so far no movie has been made on such a subject. It is just that through this movie I can communicate the strength of Homoeopathy which is absolutely harmless and non-violent and gives dramatic results.

2. What is the movie ‘Pratisaad’ all about?
‘Pratisaad’ is all about the response – a true story of a Homoeopathic Doctor depicting his entire life and incidences which led him to extraordinary researches which are now the benchmark in Homoeopathy.

3. How your life has been throughout so far as a Homoeopathic Doctor?
It was a challenging task, I have faced many ups and downs and at each step I realized the potential of Homoeopathy which inspired me to conduct my own researches which are now being followed by many of the homoeopaths worldwide.

4. What according to you is the future of Homoeopathy?
Homoeopathy will grow leaps and bounds the future is more blossoming. Homoeopathy is useful to mankind and more & more people are turning towards Homoeopathy to ease their sufferings as this is a harmless treatment with sure shot results.

5. What message will you give to budding Homoeopaths?
They should use Homoeopathy for serving mankind, all chronic, critical and emergency cases can be treated by Homoeopathy. Homoeopathy has a vast scope. To be a successful Homoeopath, they just need the right principle – ‘Similia Similibus, Curantur’- like cures likes.

6. You are a successful homeopath whom would you like give credit to?
Credit goes to not just one but many. First of all my family. They are the backbones of what I am today. Then comes my staff .That is my huge support system. And my patients without whom I could not have been what I am today.

Dear Dr Armarsinha ~ I understand that your motive and purpose in creating this very first 'all homeopathy' movie is to promote & prove the science of homoeopathy to the worldwide community. I am so hoping that there will be a future version with subtitles so that everyone can appreciate and view with comprehension the characters and plot of the story.

Please correct me if I am wrong on any of the details. The title, "Pratisaad" means 'The Response' in Maranthi*.This movie is based on your own life experiences. This way you can put a lot of passion and details into the film.

As the title suggests, homeopathy provokes a mild & gentle response toward healing. This movie represents the life your life as a physician who has foresight about homoeopathy and how it can bring transformation to the minds of people. An autobiographical representation of your life, we watch as you face ups and downs and many challenges. In the end you feel that this shows the success of your life through homeopathy. I am looking forward to learning how homeopathy has helped create these changes through the media of dramatic film.

Those watching the film will see actual patient responses and dramatic healing in some of the worst types of diseases. You want the world to know that homeopathy can relieve suffering in huge populations without the use of saline, ICU, CCU, surgery or injection. The key benefits of homeopathy are it's gentle and safe mode of action and that is why you named the film "Pratisaad".

We would all appreciate if someone can write the translation of the dialogue in the trailer. And, we are very honored to have you in our HWC family Many successes and blessings, Debby

*Marathi (मराठी Marāṭhī) is an Indo-Aryan language spoken by the Maranthi people of western and central India. It is the official language of the state of Maharashtra. There are 90 million fluent speakers worldwide. Marathi is the 4th most spoken language in India and the 15th most spoken language in the world. Marathi is the oldest of the regional literatures in Indo-Aryan languages, dating from about 1000 CE. Marathi is estimated to be more than 1300 years old, evolving from Sanskrit.
