What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
I was succesfully treated by a homeopath and was convinced of the healing effects. I was fascinated and then started to study. This was several years ago, and have subsequently helped many people.
Check which applies. I . . .
Use homeopathy, am a homeopath, include homeopathy in my healing practice
What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
I would like to see homeopathy become part of mainstream medicine, with the abscence of sceptisim. A recognition of a system of medicine that addresses all levels of health, without the destructive side effects of allopathic medicine. I would like all homeopaths to be united in a cause, without predudice to each other; recognising that Hahnemann was the founder whilst practicing as close to his phiosophy as possible.
Why I would like to join this network?
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to learn more about homeopathy, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to learn how to market my skills, I want to join a local community of homeopaths, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
Write detailed background to introduce yourself. What school did you attend? Year of graduation? Degree or diploma? Where do you practice?
I have an arts degree (BA hons) as well as a degree in homeopathy (BSc hons, UK) plus a post graduate diploma in homeopathy and Medical Sciences from Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine, in Toronto (DHMHS). I have worked in complementary medicine for about 15 years, as an aromatherapist, reflexologist and practice reiki.
If you do not have a reference so that we can verify your homeopathic status, please send a copy of your homeopathy diploma and association certificates to HWCmembers at gmail dot com
Homeopathy has completely changed my outlook on life, as a patient and practitioner. I now see life in far more holistic terms, realising that it is impossible to separate the mind and body. My tolerance levels of others who cannot see my way of thinking are frequently tested; although would like to think (on the whole) I remain calm and rational, and spend much of my life trying to educate the uninitiated.
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
I love blending essential oils to make perfumes and body oils. I read a lot of philosophy, Krishnamurti and Jung being favourites...also like reading virtually anything. I love all sorts of music, from classical, rock, jazz; anything that inspires me
