When we point our index finger at others, we never think about the other four fingers, which are actually directed towards us! We often scold our patients for doing this and that, and we advice them to take so many precautions. We do not even allow them to consume their favorite food. We strongly suggest them to take medicines regularly and come for regular follow-ups. Our restrictions are actually more painful than the disease itself. We often utter a lot about life style diseases, lack of exercise, overuse of computer, continuous sitting on rotating chairs, troubles due to wrong postures, side effects of addictions, bad habits, etc…
Fiends, this is the time to think about the other four fingers directed towards us.
· We should think about our own health status and regular checkups
· We should think about our eating habits and bad habits
Our patients follow our words strictly, but unfortunately, we do not!
Time is not late. We must consult our colleague for a health checkup. And follow his advice strictly, because – while attacking human beings, the diseases do not discriminate medical people and non-medical people!
