One of my customers has alerted me to an article he co-authored in that specializes in research on WATER. Although this article does have some flaws, I hope that it helps stimulate discussion on this important topic.

Speaking of research, the below new study was just published in eCAM, published by Oxford University Press. This study may be of supreme importance because they show that there is a significant difference in the effects of Arsenicum album 45X and its effects on wheat seedlings when it is used within 3 months of manufacture as compared with when it is used AFTER 3 months it is manufactured. This observation may help to explain why some homeopathic trials in the past had negative results.

I am also happy to report that Michael Frass, MD (University of Vienna) and I have authored "A Review of Homeopathic Research in the Treatment of Respiratory Allergies" that will be published in the spring, 2010, issue of Alternative Medicine Review (this journal has the highest impact factor of any journal in the CAM field). Besides reviewing the clinical research in the field, we also noted which reviews of research have deemed which studies as "high quality," thereby helping us all evaluate which studies are more reliable. And yes, we also provide a short review of the basophil research.
I also want to alert you to a NEW (and important) book on homeopathic research:
New Directions in Homeopathy Research:
Advice from an Interdisciplinary Conference
Dr. Claudia Witt and Dr. Henning Albrecht, editors
By clicking on the above link, you will be able to see the book's table of contents.
You may also benefit from knowing about another new book:
Homeopathy and Mental Health Care:
Integrative Practice, Principles and Research
Christopher Johannes, PhD and Harry E. van der Zee, MD Hom, EDITORS
This compilation of articles is truly excellent, and it includes several chapters that discuss research issues in homeopathic mental health care. And yes, I was honored to author the book's Foreword.
I want to remind you about the availability of my e-book:
Homeopathic Family Medicine:
Evidence Based Nanopharmacology
This ebook is commonly recognized as one of the best and most up-to-date sources of reference to and description of clinical research in homeopathy. People can choose to purchase a one-time download or a 2-year subscription.
| Finally, many of you know that I have become a regular columnist at an extremely popular website called the Huffington Post. You can read my articles at:
I have some upcoming articles that will be posted there, including:
-- "The Case FOR Homeopathy
: The Historical and Scientific Evidence" (this article will hopefully be one of the strongest responses to skeptics of homeopathy, who I prefer to call "denialists")
-- "Homeopathic Medicine:
Europe's #1 Medical Alternative" (this article
will provide a review of the status of homeopathy in Europe with the most
extensive review of the peer-review literature on this subject)
