Creating Waves of Awareness
In continuation of the series of CMEs the 2nd in order of Respiratory Disorders and Homoeopathy by HMAI Delhi State was on 1st May 2016 held in Auditorium of Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital attended by around 100 doctors. Dr. A. K. Gupta, President of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Delhi state informed that Homoeopathy plays a very important role in treating a large number of patients suffering from respiratory disease like TB, Bronchiactesis and Sarcoidosis etc., which causes Cough, Fever, Chest Pain, Breathing difficulty etc. can affect young children to elderly people. Environmental factors like Pollution, Smoke, Congestion, Infection (Bacterial, Viral or Fungal) and lifestyle can cause it. It was observed that if Homoeopathic treatment is given in the beginning itself then far less number of patients would get complications. Gathering was informed of the study done by Delhi Homoeopathic Anusandhan Parishad (DHAP) where Homoeopathy has been found very helpful in treating the patients suffering from Multi Drug Resistant TB.
Dr. Sunny Kalra, MBBS, DNB (Respiratory Medicine & Interventional Pulmonology) Consultant at Delhi’s renown BLK Hospital gave a very informative presentation and spoke about Tuberculosis, Bronchiectasis and Sarchoidosis. He mentioned about the presentation, and diagnosis with treatment modalities in clinics and Hospitals also dealing with emergencies.
It was really moving when he mentioned that despite being an Allopathic doctor, he is a firm believer of Homoeopathy and his own family members also take Homoeopathic treatment. He emphasized and cautioned that there is no need of prolonged Antibiotics as it is not required and suggested for the judicious use of Antibiotics and Steroids.
Dr. Mukesh Chwala MD (Hom) and Medical superintendent of B.R. Sur Homoeopathic Medical College & Hospital gave wonderful Homoeopathic Therapeutics. He mentioned about various Homoeopathic medicines which are usually found very effective in treating these Respiratory disorders like Ars, Antim Tart, Bromium, Bry, Spongia etc. and few rare remedies like Aspidosperma, Cassia Soph, Pothos etc.
Dr. A.K. Gupta, President of the Homoeopathic Medical Association of India, Delhi informed that the participants would be given a Certificate at the completion of the 3 CMEs series to the members of the HMAI. He also suggested the doctors to become an active member and strengthen the Association for the continuation of good work for the cause of homoeopathy and Homoeopaths at large. The next CME would be held on 3rd July 2016 and Lung Cancer would be discussed informed the General Secretary Dr. Saurav Arora.
