Tuberculinum Rosenbach 30 X, a code for a homeopathic tuberculosis nosode characterized by Rosenbach. It is now classified as Mycobacterium gordonae, a nontuberculous mycobacteria commonly found in tap water and soil. It is named after the American bacteriologist Ruth E. Gordon and is classified in Runyon group 2 as a scotochromogenic tuberculous organism. Cultures grow slowly, are smooth, and are pigmented yellow. M gordonae is one of the least pathogenic of the mycobacteria except in those with HIV where it can cause severe systemic disease. So, It is a remedy of choce in Advance HIV AIDS patients.
