Creating Waves of Awareness

There are many theories regarding germs and their role in disease. The germ theory was first postulated by Louis Pasteur, and Robert Koch extended his observation into a discovery of large (yet false) medical significance. In homeopathy germs are not viewed as the primary cause of disease. Based on the vitalistic approach disease is related to the decrease in vital energy, and if this has reached a certain low level the patient becomes susceptible to infections.

There is another theory suggesting that each disease is biphasic, beginning with the permanent sympatheticotonia to be followed by the permanent vagotonia in which pathogens appear and even support the body in it's recovery of health - suggesting that microbes are not the cause but consequence of disease.

If you check the table...You will see that practically all infectious symptoms are in the parasympathetic stimulation (Permanent vagotonia), i,e. Bronchoconstriction, increased secretions, increased motility, large volume K and water secretion=Fever, etc, etc.

...It is right.

In fact, a very interesting article!

Just some observations about it.

While it is truth that we must consider this "biphasic Law" as the fertile soil in which microorganisms grow in a favorable manner, it is also important to accept that actually, there have been defined more clearly the mechanisms by which microorganisms establish their virulence and their mechanisms to invade the host as well mentioned in Kenneth´s work 2008. Although this "Law" is viable for all microorganisms, it is also true that we must take precautions and reserves, particularly in the case of "microorganisms producing exotoxins". In my practice, I also have cured cases of scarlet (escarlatina) fever using only homeopathy, but this depends on the risk-time factor, because there are many exotoxins are so toxic that they may be fatal to the host before the immune system has a chance to mount defenses against it. Even Kenneth writes the following:

Bacterial protein toxins are the most powerful human poisons known and retain high activity at very high dilutions. The lethality of the most potent bacterial exotoxins is compared to the lethality of strychnine, snake venom.

In the other hand, the autonomic nervous system has implications not only in the realm of disease, but also on health. ANS is not only affected by the "central computer" (brain), but can also be affected by a large number of conventional drugs (eg, methylxanthines, beta-blockers) and also by some exotoxins from certain bacteria. Therefore, and considering that Hahnemann himself has established that homeopathic medicines work through the nerve endings, we could easily conclude that the autonomic nervous system being affected by them and even by the vital energy, so that a vita energy deharmonisation involves an imbalance in which predominate either of the two systems, contrary, a harmony of energy would produce a balance betwen both, sympathetic and parasympathetic (Eutonia). Of course, I am speaking hypothetically.

Neverthless, there is a table, which has been on my mind since I studied the first year of medical school. In this table we can see a summary of the autonomic nervous system functions. For any homeopath, this table will remind them about of primary and secondary action from homeopathic medicines.

That is a great stuff.
Similar idea is presented in the theoretical part of Bach's work - Bowel nosodes. According to his theory infectious organisms are mutations of our existing bowel flora. This one is more technically comprehensive and perfect.
Thanks for the translation and reference.

Hello Katja!
I'm pirating my daughter's machine. I personally believe that germs are oportunists; they flourish in a susceptible patient. They are a secondary cause of disease and they will kill the patient if we let them. Let me clarify that I used antibiotics for the last time back in 2004. Before that in 2001 once. We have all the tools needed to fight them in homeopathy, but we have to do it. They do not help. The only germs that help are the ones in the natural flora, but some of these can become vicious if conditions within the body change. That is what we must control with diet, habits and homeopathy.
Greetings from Mexico!
