Creating Waves of Awareness
There are many types of killer diseases, for which the conventional medicine has not as yet found any remedy, First it was AIDS , we now have EBOLA. Let me mention here the that Dr Jeremy Sherr who has devoted part of his life on research on AIDS in Africa, has had great success in treating AIDS there with homeopathy. So this could also be a lead in treating Ebola with homeopathy.
See the recent outbreak of EBOLA in west Africa, Siera Leone, Guinea, and elsewhere has sent shock waves in medical world, specially when two American doctors who were there treating the infected patients were themselves struck with the deadly virus. They have now been moved to USA for treatment in an Atlanta Hospital with an experimental serum. The action and result of this serum is cautiously being awaited by the world.
I would like to mention a best selling book published in 1994 on the subject of Ebola. The write up says, "The Hot Zone: A Terrifying True Story" is a best-selling 1994 non-fiction thriller by Richard Preston about the origins and incidents involving viral hemorrhagic fevers, particularly Ebola viruses and Marburg viruses. It is said that this virus was developed in a lab and then taken to the so called “dark continent” Africa for further research. I can only assume that it went to Africa because no one would question the experiments on human beings as there are no viable government with resources to challenge the use there.
Let me now come to the treatment of EBOLA with homeopathy. I have already mentioned that Dr Jeremy has proved that homeopathy can treat such devastating disease like AIDS successfully, so why we can not treat Ebola? Homeopathy is a holistic means of treating diseases which does not need names of diseases for treatment, but takes into account all the symptoms, mental, physical and emotional and then selects a medicine from thousands of medicine in homeopathy.
Dengue fever where bleeding takes place from the body has also been treated with Homeopathy, where snake remedy Crotallus Horridus has proved very useful. Ebola with this bleeding tendency may also respond.
Dr Eileen Nauman, homeopath and author of “Poisons That Heal” has a section on remedies for bleeding tendencies in disease.
The following data has been added from Wikipedia, for additional detail about Ebola Ebola disease—also called Ebola hemorrhagic fever or Ebola fever—is a rare and often fatal illness that humans and nonhuman primates (such as monkeys and gorillas) can contract.
There have been several outbreaks of Ebola fever in Africa Ebola virus disease (EVD) or Ebola hemorrhagic fever (EHF) is the human disease caused by the Ebola virus. Symptoms typically start two days to three weeks after contracting the virus, with a fever, sore throat, muscle pains, and headaches. Typicallynausea, vomiting, and diarrhea follow, along with decreased functioning of the liver and kidneys. At this point, some people begin to have bleeding problems. The virus may be acquired upon contact with blood or bodily fluids of an infected animal (commonly monkeys or fruit bats). It is not naturally transmitted through the air.
Fruit bats are believed to carry and spread the virus without being affected. Once human infection occurs, the disease may spread between people as well. Male survivors may be able to transmit the disease via semen for nearly two months. In order to make the diagnosis, typically other diseases with similar symptoms such as malaria, cholera and otherviral hemorrhagic fevers are first excluded. Blood samples may then be tested for viral antibodies, viral RNA, or the virus itself to confirm the diagnosis.
Prevention includes decreasing the spread of disease from infected monkeys and pigs to humans. This may be done by checking such animals for infection and killing and properly disposing of the bodies if the disease is discovered. Properly cooking meat and wearing protective clothing when handling meat may also be helpful, as are wearing protective clothing and washing hands when around a person with the disease. Samples of bodily fluids and tissues from people with the disease should be handled with special caution.
There is no specific treatment for the disease; efforts to help persons who are infected include giving either oral rehydration therapy(slightly sweet and salty water to drink) or intravenous fluids.
The disease has high mortality rate: often killing between 50% and 90% of those infected with the virus.
EVD was first identified in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The disease typically occurs in outbreaks in tropical regions of Sub-Saharan Africa.
From 1976 (when it was first identified) through 2013, fewer than 1,000 people per year have been infected.
The largest outbreak to date is the ongoing 2014 West Africa Ebola outbreak, which is affecting Guinea, Sierra Leone, Liberia and likely Nigeria.
As of July 2014 more than 1320 cases have been identified.
Efforts are ongoing to develop a vaccine; however, none yet exists.
I hope this small presentation will help readers to further explore the treatment of Ebola,at least theoretically with homeopathic medicines, and may be one day we can have a homeopathic protocol for overcoming this devastating disease.
