Creating Waves of Awareness

Be Prepared To Celebrate 'World Homoeopathy Day' On 10th April 2011

NOTE: This is a revised blog from WHAW 2010

Hi friends,

We celebrate a number of world awareness days on almost every disease or condition mentioned in the medical dictionary such as Diabetic Day, AIDS Day, Alzheimer's Day and what not. We also spend a lot for SMSs and phone calls to greet our friends on such days. Now, only two weeks left until April 10th, the birthday of our master Dr Samuel Hahnemann. It should be celebrated as "WORLD HOMOEOPATHY DAY." For this reason why should we wait for someone's approval? Aude sapare!

Lets put our hands together and be prepared to celebrate the world homoeopathy day 2011.

We can make this day colorful by conducting free homeopathic medical camps and public awareness classes on the efficacy of this system.

Kind Regards.

Dr Muhammed Rafeeque, BHMS.

Thank You!

It is a good opportunity for Pakistani Homeopaths to come out from their homes and walk for:-

The Government has very strong pressure of Allopathic Groups who by all means want to close homeopathic setup in Pakistan.

1. First the Punjab Government removed “HOMEOPATHY” from its official Yardstick of Government Hospitals.

2. Then ban was imposed on homeopathy and declared homeopathy a “dying cadre”. This means from now onward no new homeopathic medical officers in government hospitals will be inducted / recruited. Those who are working will get retirement on mature of their services but no promotion is allowed for them in next grade.

3. No Service Structure is available for them. Basic education for induction is beyond its basic education admissible for admission. It is also funny. (See letter)

4. Recently a letter is issued by Government of the Punjab that the basic education for getting admission in DHMS course should be raised otherwise the homeopathy department will be closed but Govt is not interested to announce salary package for them after raising the standard. Govt has adopted dual policy. On the same education and standard, it has raised the salary package for nurses who are supposed to work under Homeo Medical Officer. As MO is the incharge of the department but its lower staff salary is raised. What a funny decision. The incharge is getting low salary and lower staff is getting high. Shameful decision.

On these issues, all Pakistani Homeopathic Doctors Communities really reacted hard and now

  1. Homeopathy has been included again in the Yardstick
  2. Dying Cadre letter has been withdrawn.
  3. Service Structure is near to approve (the case is in the court)
  4. After getting equivalency on DHMS upto B.Sc, this point will be killed

So come out today for a WALK.

A Walk against social injustice

A Walk to save homeopathy

A Walk to create health awareness among the common people.

A Walk to unite

A Walk to display harmony

A Walk to guide people about epidemic diseases.
