When I was doing BHMS, one Indian TV channel used to telecast a comedy show on doctors. During one episode, when we were having food in our mess-hall with some modern medical students, the anchor of that show made a funny comment on Homeopathy. In Homeopathy, the remedy for the same disease changes even for silly reasons, he said. If a person falls on the floor- one remedy, if he falls from second floor- another remedy, and another drug for 3rd floor..., he continued. Seeing this, they all laughed at me. Silence was my only answer since I was a beginner.

In fact he was right. In homeopathy, the remedy changes for "silly" reasons. If a person falls on the floor, he may get only abrasion, hence Allium cepa or Clendula will do the job. Similarly, when the height changes, the impact on the body changes, hence the victim may need drugs like Arnica, Ruta, Rhustox, Bellis per, Hypericum, Natrum sulph, Millefolium etc. His funny dialogue was in fact an approval to the accuracy of Homeopathy in the selection of a remedy.
