A big loss to Homoeopathy - Tinus Smits passed away...

Dear friends,
It is with great sadness that I write that Tinus Smits has passed away.

Yesterday in the early morning of April 1 Tinus Smits passed away.
As most of you will know, he was suffering of a kidney (Grawitz) tumor, and although he was very optimistic, and he still had a good time for about a year, the last month his health diminished very quickly.
His family, his wife and 3 sons, took care for him at home with the help of many others, and they did it in a very loving and caring way. People from the whole world were praying and meditating for him, and all this surely helped him to die in peace. He really died in peace this morning, being conscious and aware and fully accepting his way to the eternal Light.
His funeral will be on Eastern Monday, 5 april, 15.30 in the Onze Lieve Vrouw Presentatie Church, Eindhovenseweg 63, 5582 HP Aalst-Waalre.
We all thank him for the energetic and enthusiastic way he lived his life and for all the work he did for the well being of others, especially for the people in Nepal. (Even I was at one time associated with this Nepal Project).

May his soul rest in peace.

You are right. People say Hahnemann lived up to 1843, but still his heart throbs in mine and your heart. We being the material beings sometime feel that the person is no more but he always lives in patients', students' heart. I agree.

People like Tinus Smits never die, they always live in our hearts and in the soul of the patients whom he treated.

It is really a sad news for homoeopathic circle. A bright star of homoeopathy left the galaxy. We all are in a big shock. We lost a brilliant man, a classical homoeopathic practitioner and a good author. May the Almighty grace the great soul peace at His feet.

It is indeed a sad sad day...he must have been on my mind because just today I finally got around to ordering multiple copies of his new book on autism...which I have heard is a great contribution to our field...he and his contributions live on...
