Well, life has been a bit stressful lately. Our 12 year old granddaughter was diagnosed with Stage IV Wilm's Tumor on the 20th of December. She then went through surgery but it was unsuccessful. Today she is being admitted to the Holtz Jackson Miami hospital for a very intricate and dangerous surgery to again try to remove the tumor. She had 2 chemo treatments right after Christmas and the tumor shrunk a bit. Then 6 more chemo sessions and the tumor is believed to be dead now but did not…

Daughter with final exams. One question asked, How do you feel about civil rights and healthcare? Well, it's been awhile since I've had the presence of mind to visit or do anything out of what has been absolutely necessary i.e. tend the farm, cook, work, sleep and try to heal.
