I have a patient who cannot use the phone due to a tinnitus condition (amongst other things) so I am part way through creating a questionnaire. I thought ..oh great I can pop this on my website as a download which patients can fill in and email back to me...so far so good
Now male and female differences aside we know homeopathy is about individualisation and I am very aware just how completely different my patients are one from the other ...sooo now wondering is the questionnaire good… Continue

There's another death in the homeopathic community, Dr. Melvyn Smith of Sugarland, Texas died of pancreatic cancer. From his obituary
Smith, his sister said, was an avid student of mythology and metaphysics. And, well into his career as a medical doctor, he became fascinated by alternative medicine. In 1981 he was co-founder of the Texas Society of Homeopathy; 16 years later he was certified by the Council… Continue

The idea for this Golf Tournament as a fund raiser was inspired by residents of detox facilities who expressed that modalities such as yoga, meditation and now homeopathy have been the most helpful in their struggle with addiction because of a sense of inner peace.
I believe that peace on earth will only be achieved from the inside out, one person at a time, as each one of us grows inner peace we will plant seeds of peace.
How fortunate we are that homeopathy in its very essence… Continue

This is a wholesome concept finding a respite and yet utilising the time for the purpose of Homoeopathy with casual talks and yet with subtle business touch and creating a clan of people who are like minded and uniting them to get into unique approach which likely to slowly unbridled the thoughts and action to patch up the seems to be unseen and yet prevailing differences and when imploring the mind and the resultant explores the possibility of united action, united… Continue

Sir John Maddox, former editor of Nature, died April 12. He was editor during the "Benveniste affair." He first published Benveniste's paper on the action of infinitesmal doses on mast cells and then sent a team to Benveniste's laboratory to debunk him, publishing the account in the next issue of Nature.

This was posted recently on a skeptic's blog as a response to an attack on vitalism and I thought I'd share it here.
Just as we can distinguish between a computer and the program executed upon it, we can distinguish between the physical and chemical basis of life and life itself. Life acts to preserve the narrow set of conditions that make it possible. It's this activity to conserve and propagate itself which is the vital force. And just as problems with a computer usually aren't… Continue

In the many drafts during the editorial process in writing the letter to President Obama, I realized I had inadvertently left an asterisk off the end of the last sentence of the first paragraph of the letter which relates to the last page of the letter and the title of the book The Homeopathic Revolution. I want to make sure this credit is given! Continue
This has been corrected on my website which links to the letter!…

Andre Saine gave a talk at the NCH summer school on the principles of homeopathy. It's an interesting presentation of the subject, though obviously not the last word on it. Here are my notes from his talk.
Homeopathy was defined by Hahnemann and must be practiced according to the principles he described. These are:
1. The law of similars, or similia similibus curantur. The sick are most easily, mildly, and permanently cured by the most similar medicine. For example,… Continue

Chocolate is made from the seeds of the tropical Cacao tree, Theoboma Cacao. The Aztecs used the bean as currency, and European explorers brought it back to the western world in the early 16th century. But why do we love it and why do we crave it? Chocolate today contains a large proportion of fat and sugar which may go some way to explaining chocolate cravings, especially if you have an inherited 'sweet tooth'. But there is more to it than that. In fact, chocolate contains over 300… Continue

Too many people dismiss homeopathy as a placebo, not stopping to think what a remarkable thing a placebo is. How is it that one can cause a change in one's health simply by believing something is a cure? It's as remarkable as fixing a television set by turning it to a different channel. Our familiarity with the concept of placebo has made it invisible to us. The placebo has become the shadow of medicine, the anti-medicine, when it should point us to a new concept of medicine, one that breaks… Continue

As we now enter the Easter feast of chocolate in the UK. I wanted to share with you something of the role of chocolate in homeopathy. As part of the homeopathic consultation you might be asked “Are there any foods that you crave?”. Many clients will answer chocolate! To verify the usefulness of this as a strong characteristic symptom of the client I then check how much chocolate they actually eat. A bar a day, three bars a day,…

The argument made against homeopathy usually goes like this:
1. There's nothing in homeopathic medicines
2. If there's nothing in them, they can't work
3. Therefore, homeopathic medicines are placebos
It's a strange argument, because placebos work, by definition, and yet there's nothing in a placebo either. So there's at least one example of a kind of medicine with nothing in it that works. So why not two or more? I'm not saying that homeopathy is not a placebo.… Continue

This was sent to me by a friend who is an MD. She rightly identified this dangerous situation as a "drug driving a superficial illness deep inside the body":
Efalizumab Withdrawn From US Market
Efalizumab (Raptiva), used for the treatment of psoriasis, will no longer be available in the United States because of the risk for progressive multifocal leukoencephalopathy.

I'm working with a company that runs for almost 20 years for the health and treatment of farm animals, with homeopathy.
We are in Canada and France for the moment. We are dedicated to help the farmers with their daily health problems on their herds, and to teach them how to act more often by themselves, when it's possible.
Here is the website of the company:
In our expertise, we also include the feeding of the herds to try to find the… Continue

Dearest Friends of Homeopathy,
From a tiny little seed grows a huge tree.
Every time I speak with someone about the concept of this site, we learn and discover new applications and its usefulness to each of us.
First, I want to remind everyone that there are plenty of websites that discuss finding personal remedies and helping each other in that way. There are sites that have materia medica and online repertories. However, this is not a replica of those sites.… Continue
