What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
In 2009 my best friend, the PBGV DC, also known as Washington Post's DC Dazzler passed away after a horrendous and very expensive year of traditional vet care. He died. I cried, and he sent these two wild ones 2 weeks later! One came from the PBGV rescue, and the other via a plea for a pup to DC's breeder. I got the surprise of my life when they both had extreme symptoms of vaccine damage, which I knew nothing about until they became my responsibility. Eventually we ended up on the website of a homeopathic lay practitioner who is trained in the ADVANCED METHODS. We're searching the world again for someone who did as much for my dogs as she did.
Check which applies. I . . .

What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
I actually have a plan for what I see as a bright future for raw food and homeopathic care of dogs and cats. I hope that anyone who is certified and experienced to practice with farm animals, dogs, cats and ferrets will join me in carrying out the plan, which will impact the practitioner’s business in a positive way. The plan concerns development and implementation of two NEW totally homeopathic services that will create new revenue streams for practitioners and consultants and awaken PET LOVERS to a cost effective and totally new experience of "hands on" health and life-promoting strategies for their beloved pets! And DC and Sparky have vowed to return to life and lead the way!
Why I would like to join this network?
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to find an expert homeopath, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to learn how to market my skills, I want to advertise on HWC, I want to join a local community of homeopaths, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
Write detailed background to introduce yourself. What school did you attend? Year of graduation? Degree or diploma? Where do you practice?
I am not a homeopath. I do not intend to become a homeopath, but I intend to do everything I can do to move pet owners and their pets to homeopathy. In addition, I hope to learn enough about farm animals to work locally with ranchers in Colorado who are dealing with the management of GMO crops and climate change issues and their impact on the food supply.
I would say that my experience with allopathic vet services and the $10,000 I spent during the last year of my dog DC's life taught me a lot about "what products and services not to receive or purchase" from traditional veterinary hospitals/practitioners, and it taught me not to be shy about being vocal concerning what I need from vets in the realm of services. I have a vision of pet owners working in harmony with their local veterinarians. The ideal doctor/patient relationship with a veterinarian is to find one who agrees to be paid to diagnose, handle specific issues, but not feel threatened with the knowledge that treatment comes under the direction of the homeopath!
My experience since 2001, while living with a dog whose life was essentially cut short by annual vaccine protocols that resulted in him having a compromised immune system.
For me, learning about vaccine protocols and pet nutrition came only after watching over DC’s struggle for life and remembering my own feelings of helplessness. It was too late for DC, but it made me eager to do the research to learn about species appropriate diets, which led me to the vaccine issue. I believe that I can help open the Middle Way to cooperation between the veterinarian and homeopath. I thank DC every day for going through the end-of-life suffering he went through so that I would be motivated to seek, research, experience and learn what it takes to raise and be responsible for the two young dogs who must have been sent by DC to keep me company and open my eyes about how NOT to let what happened to him happen to them.

What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
I love art and all creative endeavors... walking, one foot at a time on the sacred turf of our planet with my dogs, and meditation, meditation, meditation!
