What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
Sniffly children who gave me all their colds! After surgery and without vaccinations my second daughter was treated at the Royal London Homeopathic Hospital for the after-effects of whooping-cough and I was a convert. This was about 1977.
I bought a copy of Boericke and have used it ever since. No medical interventions now for 35 years and as fit as a fiddle! Ten years later I trained as a homeopath and, except for a five-year break, have been practising ever since, using cranio-sacral therapy, healing or herbs and flower-essences along side homeopathy as appropriate.

Use homeopathy, am a homeopath, include homeopathy in my healing practice
What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
A huge future: we in the homeopathic community are in the doldrums but, like the banking world, our rivals in the pharmaceutical industry with their enormous power, will eventually crumble. I hope we will be ready when it happens.
I am setting up a clinic on wheels to reach those in remote places or who need reaching in some other way.
Why I would like to join this network?
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to learn more about homeopathy, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to learn how to market my skills, I want to advertise on HWC, I want to join a local community of homeopaths, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
Write detailed background to introduce yourself. What school did you attend? Year of graduation? Degree or diploma? Where do you practice?
Northern College of Homeopathic Medicine, 1987-1991. No previous academic training, but have since acquired an MA (Hons) in English Literature which I did for pleasure. I graduated from two homeopathic institutions with diplomas, and have one in C-ST. My practice centres around Edinburgh and the Borders.
If you do not have a reference so that we can verify your homeopathic status, please send a copy of your homeopathy diploma and association certificates to HWCmembers at gmail dot com
I have a HWC member reference
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
English literature! I enjoying attempts at writing myself.
I love Nature, especially birds and trees, also running water.
A country soul at heart, I choose to live in the best city in Britain, and love it.
Yorkshire is very important to me: my roots are there.
I have grown up children and grandchildren who I adore.
I have travelled the world and left my heart in India - and Australia.
I have very supportive (of homeopathy) partner.
At 65 I have never loved life so much and want to share it.
Instead of 'retiring' I want to see the re-birth of homeopathy and be a part of it.

Hi Teresa, Thanks so much for your views. I'll explain how I give lm's and maybe it will help you understand my approach and maybe you have different ways of giving lm's. I generally only as a rule give lm's to my clients when they are on medication. I buy in the granules and make up a dropper bottle myself, and ask them to put 5 drops in halve a glass of water, take 2 teaspoonsful and dump the mixture. Then they need to succuss about 8 times and repeat. I usually get them to take morn and evening after they have taken their own medication. When the dropper bottle is empty, symptoms return, energy levels decrease etc., I go up to the next lm. Therefore, I went to lm 3 as usual and was not expecting such a reaction. I asked her to continue taking the lm and wait as "things get thrown up" when you go up in lm etc., and I was expecting the symptoms to settle down after a while. When they did not, I decided to go up the next lm in the hope that symptoms would settle. They did a bit. I wonder if I had gone up to the next lm soon, would it have made a bigger difference instead of waiting on the lm 3 for so long... She has been a client for a about 3 years now and has done well. But our aim now is to try and get her off her medication. I have decided to antidote the remedy now as she has been having these symptoms for about 4 weeks now, and I will allow myself time to find out more about Op and then in a couple of months start back on the lm 1 or 2. I would appreciate your input and hope some of the above gives you an indication of the type of homeopath I am - still just a beginner though, and I am learn a lot with this case at the moment.
