I have a background in general nursing in the National Health Service in the UK. I've been using homoeopathy for about 30 years. And have used Bach and Californian Flower Essences for 25 years. I have a B.A. Hons degree in English Language and have done some teaching of 11-16 year olds in mainstream schools.
If you do not have a reference so that we can verify your homeopathic status, please send a copy of your homeopathy diploma and association certificates to HWCmembers at gmail dot com
I guess it was that homoeopathy was my first step on the path to exploring a different way of perceiving the whole spectrum of illness/wellness. And thence to seeing life in a different way, and myself in a different way. Not that I think I understand any of it, even myself!!!!
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
I have also studied at University level for two years for a Diploma in Psychology. I'm interested in the psychology of the semantics of language. I also have a Certificate in Massage and Diplomas in Aromatherapy and Reflexology. Nowadays I work nights shifts in the Criminal Justice Service. I'm also a practising Buddhist, although I need lots and lots of practise! Maybe another few aeons of practise and I might get close to enlightenment!! Hobbies for chilling out: meditation, reading, doing art and photography, cycling (in moderation), flying kites. I also write. I sort of cycle through my interests and keep revisiting them, depending on what has caught my interest at any one point in time. Although they do also sort of interlink into each other most of the time, in an odd sort of way. And I'm 58.

HI susan. The HWC administration and community wish you well. Last month we upgraded our registration process. We have developed into a by-invitation professional homeopathic website. Please update your profile and change your photograph to a more contemporary picture. THank you for your new discussions.
Hi Susan, so interesting to read your updated profile - I share a lot of your interests, especially flower essences, art - and Buddhism (although I haven't joined up!). Being brought up as a Catholic kind of put me off re-joining anything remotely religious(!), although I do love the Buddhist ideas. I will hit 50 this year, so not such a big gap there either! I hope this site will be a meeting point for us from time to time - am just packing to go on holiday (to hopefully sunny Devon) so won't be online for a while though...
