My 4 yo son had chronic tonsilitis - and I knew the Drs orders of antibiotics for 12 mths straight were NOT what I was going to do. So I started to research and as luck would have there was a Homeopathic first aid course in my town - so I enrolled. The first remedy we did, after some philosophy and introduction to Homeopathy) was Belladonna - which exactly fitted my sons 42+ degree celcius fevers. I ordered some Belldonna and tried it out on him a couple of days later when I came home from work to find him in a full blown fever. I gave a first dose and repeated it (as advised 15 mins later) within 20-25 minutes his tonsils had parted by one cm and he was running around complaining that he was hungry and could he go outside and play now.
Normally his tonsils were so swollen together that any liquids taken would come out of the nose, he would be really sick and high fevers for 2-3 days - by which time the antibiotics would be just starting to work and then he would be subclinically sick, pale lethargic for about 3 weeks and then it would start all over again. This time the gap between episodes was longer (6 weeks) and he was much more well between. He had one more episode and Belladonna was used again - but by this time I had taken him to the Homeopath that was teaching me, she gave him Calc Carb - and after that he only had a few more bouts of tonsilitis and then was pretty well most of the time. And me - I was hooked - studied anything I could get my hands for for about 10 years and then started formal training as a Homeoath and have now been in practice for over 12 years

What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
To continue to promote, work at and improve the practice Homeopathy regardless of the prevailing political decisions as it is only through people who have been touched by its 'magic' that will promote it and if we focus only on the fight we take energy away from 'healing'
