What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
As a child I used to like tangy things a lot. Tamarind, Old buttermilk.. and soon followed a state of body susceptible to Bronchial Attacks. I used to sit up in the middle of the night, suffer for want of Oxygen, sweat a lot and after an hour or two could sleep again. This continued for over a year.
Then allopathy: Bronchodilators worked on me; only whenever there was an attack I was to take a spoonful of the sweet liquid. Soon I was under their spell- could not go anywhere without carrying a bottle of a bronchodilator.
Then there developed skin infection. Itchy- dry- in areas covered by clothing.
It was then that the father of a friend of mine introduced me to Homoeopathy: Two bio chemic medicines- fifteen days- and lo, I was whole again! Did not need my dilator again!
This was in year 1986 when I was a student of Engineering. To know more about the system of medicine I started reading by myself what masters in Homoeopathy had to say.
Later in 1996-97 I became a Homoeo practitioner proper.
In 2005 I married an Ayurvedic Physician, and together we heal people; trying to establish linkages between the material- based Ayurveda and the dynamic Homoeopathy.

What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
Homoeopathy cures. It is inexpensive. It is wholesome. I suggest people in distress: use homoeo medicines first. If you are not happy, think of Ayurveda. Allopathy is the last thing you should turn to ever.
I hope this becomes the norm in coming years.
