What brought you to homeopathy? Tell your 150 word inspirational story that connects you to homeopathy. How has homeopathy changed your life?
A quick recovery from a nasty flu after one dose of Eup. per. At the time it felt like a miracle, and I wanted to know more about working such miracles. So, I studied at the Academie voor Natuurgeneeskunde, Hilversum, Netherlands, diploma 1981, and practiced until about 1995 as a classical homeopath.
After a pause of about about 15 years, in which I worked as a translator, I'm picking up homeopathy again.
Check which applies. I . . .
Use homeopathy, am a homeopath, include homeopathy in my healing practice
What is your vision for the future of homeopathy
Inevitable growth despite (mostly dumb) opposition.
I feel we might need (more) large-scale, indisputable evidence (like in Cuba), because that's what people get convinced by.
Why I would like to join this network?
I want to promote homeopathy, I want to meet like-minded people, I want to learn more about homeopathy, I want to advocate for homeopathy, I want to be involved with the homeopathic community at large
Write detailed background to introduce yourself. What school did you attend? Year of graduation? Degree or diploma? Where do you practice?
I like to get stuff working again as it should. People, cars, toys, anything that I'm able to handle (in a very distant past I used to be a technician - mechanical engeneering). Classical homeopathy, if done well, is a search, and may be cure, for the essence of problems. Taking a pain killer is like removing some red warning light in your car (speaking as a technician..)
If you do not have a reference so that we can verify your homeopathic status, please send a copy of your homeopathy diploma and association certificates to HWCmembers at gmail dot com
It has rewarded me numerous times with a feeling of true bliss, seeing recoveries from just a few doses of the so-called 'nothing' we work with. It shows you that to get the best results, a superficial approach will not do, or at best produce superficial results. This is valid for everything in life.
What are your interests besides homeopathy? Inquiring minds want to know.
I'm (also) a translator, English and German to Dutch. There are similarities to homeopathy, because as a translator, you do not translate words - you try to grasp, and next convey, what the writer of the source text intends to say, even if the source text is not too well formulated.

I'm not sure, exactly. It may have been like this: There was a discussion onLinkedIn Groups - Homeopathy, I ran into Irena Brbic, clicked on her profile, and (also) found HWC. Thank you, Irena ;-).

(Hm, I'm not sure this is how it is supposed to be.... Maybe someone will comment)

Whatever, in my opinion, this is one of the best talks on TED.
This is one thing that won't please Monsanto etc.

Hi Hennie ! I really enjoyed reading your comments on the similarity between homeopath and translators. Doing a lot of translations by myself I can see your point, and to understand this is what makes a good translator as well as a good homeopath !

Enjoy visiting our network !
