Vaikunthanath das Kaviraj A Memorial
(October 31, 1946 – March 2, 2013)

Short memorial page on Narayana

A memorial page to Kaviraj, agro-homeopath, friend and community leader. Fondly called, "Kavi," he contributed 66 blog articles to HWC since 2009. He participated in over a thousand discussions, and started 9 new streams of thought. In one of his posts, Kaviraj explained why he liked being part of this community when discussing his trip to Haiti . . .

  • "The way the community rallied behind the call to arms is exemplary! We have the power to make a difference. I have made many friends in the process, whom I would not want to miss for all that may be offered in the world."

Kaviraj started the Haiti Relief Group and whenever he heard about some natural disaster around the globe, he was ready to pick up at a moment's notice and go there.

In addition, Kavi was active on Twitter and FaceBook and probably a number of other social networks encouraging people to learn about classical homeopathy for plants, animals and humans.

Known as an instructor and an author, he shared his knowledge freely.

PLANT EXPERT INTERVIEWS| HWC was extremely fortunate to have Kaviraj do a series of talks on the BlogTalkRadio Shows. They are still available. We brainstormed just the right name, "How Homeopathy Helps Grow Great Gardens" and we enjoyed the alliteration. When it came to background music, Kavi could only handle classical style, even though his extensive background in traveling with great bands expanded to a variety of rock genre.

Back in March 17, 2010 Kaviraj posted a message asking to teach all his knowledge to "A Sorcerer's Apprentice" which intimates he may have known he was not well and it was time to pass on his life's knowledge. He worked furiously to complete his writings on plants and homeopathy. He traveled far and wide giving lectures and demonstrating methods.

Kaviraj was an advocate for political correctness and social causes, and you say a conspiracy theorist for good reasons. He started his own group call CAM United Action. He will be sorely missed by our community at large. We will miss his fun loving voice and wisdom about how to practice homeopathy. He concluded in the article about why he loved HWC, "United we stand, divided we fall!" and I supposed that may have been his motto.

I will remember Kaviraj for his changing beard styles from short to long to no beard at all. I will remember his admonitions and his devoted service.

Kaviraj's Plant Books will be the classic standard for years to come

Kaviraj also posted a number of YouTube Videos to share his thoughts with the world

I'm sure there will be plenty more to say as we remember how much Kaviraj contributed to homeopathy in our times. Blessings. info about me and my work.

May his soul rest in peace.

A Learned person,
A lovely Human being,
An outspoken personality,
A genuine soul,
A Spiritual aura,
A Vedic saint,
A true Homoeopath,
A friend, Philosopher and Guide .....
How much and what ever we can praise about him , is always beyond the extent of words, We Lost him..... Such a brave heart and high spirited person .... we will miss you kaviraj, you are in our heart, and soul .... God give peace to your soul .... But really one cannot believe that person like him can ever leave ...... :( i will miss all the conversations with you kavi ....

A pioneer, had to have his way..... I have learnt alot from him.... May he rest in peace

May God rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the bereaved family to bear the loss. He was kind, generous, loving. Whenever I look at his picture there is an impact of a fathers' love. He has gone but he and his work is alive in our hearts. Memories keep those we love close to us forever.

To live in hearts we leave behind is not to die. - Campbell, Thomas.

Kaviraj is no more with us. He was a man of knowledge and experience particularly in curing diseases of plants. By nature he was a nice person. God may rest his soul in peace.

A great personal loss...he would not want me or anyone to grieve. He understood India and its sacred text more than many us Indians. A true crusader evangelist of homoeopathy and organic farming...a pioneer of Agro SALUTE and Pranam

I have just come to know that Dr Kaviraj is no more. It's sad news for all of us. When the Haiti expedition was planned , I became the coordinator in Miami. We collected all the medicine, about a container's worth from all over and stacked it in my apartment, where Kaviraj came and spent time with me. We spent some time together, and then he left for Haiti. Before leaving he presented an autographed copy of his "PLANT book," which is now my cherished possession.

May his soul rest in peace amen.

All lovers of Plant homeopathy will miss him, as he was the first of his kind, adventurous, brave and dedicated.

Some of the photographs are on HWC photos gallery.

We contemplate the glory of Light illuminating the three worlds: gross, subtle, and causal.
I am that vivifying power, love, radiant illumination, and divine grace of universal intelligence.
We pray for the divine light to illumine our minds.

I'll keep it simple:

Bye for now, -- I'll see you later!

It was really a hurting news we lost a stalwart of Agrohomeopathy

My dear friend Kavi.  In the short while since I have come to know you, you quickly grew on me as someone I could trust, a friend and a teacher, with a burning passion for nature.  You were someone larger than life.  “Simple living, clear thinking” was your motto, and I loved it.   It was truly a priviledge and an honour to know you.  I will cherish the many memories of our time together discussing all sorts of things homeopathic.  It was only a few weeks ago we were debating the ability of water to store information.  I thought you’d be here for a lot longer.   I will miss you greatly.

Wow what a wonderful collection in Kavi's honor, Debby!  So amazing and sweet for you to put this together.  Nice to remember him here on HWC, the first place we 'met' when trying to raise money for the Haiti trip in 2009.  He was such a treasure and is very missed.
