Creating Waves of Awareness

Dear all,

I have a confusion over the two different rubrics:

1. MALE GENITALIA/SEX - EJACULATION - desire for

2. MALE GENITALIA/SEX - MASTURBATION; disposition to

Please discuss the difference.

1. A desire for ejaculation would include sex with a partner, not just during masturbation.

2. In cases of orgasmic dysfunction, in which a patient can achieve and maintain an erection but not ejaculate.

3. If a patient could ejaculate while masturbating but not during intercourse.

These are given on a brief reflection. Others will occur upon further consideration.

Masturbation is where a male (or female) manually stimulates him/herself to try to reach an orgasm. Ejaculation is when a male emits semen at the height of an orgasm.

Ejaculation desire for contains the sense- Amelioration after ejaculation- (Psora- natural discharges amel.) He is aggravated if ejaculation is not done. He may not have increased sexual passion. So, he compromises if ejaculation is not done, hence no need of masturbation. He may only seek for natural sexual intercourse or suppresses his desire. Then he feels worse but keeps him self as an introvert. As soon as he has an ejaculation, he is better and therefore has a desire for ejaculation.

Masturbation desire contains three senses 1) Sexual desire increased and must be satisfied by any means 2) amelioration after ejaculation 3) suppression of sexual desire aggravates him violently, he must get rid of it even by masturbation. He can not refrain from getting his ejaculation done immediately even by masturbation. He is a typical extrovert.

Dear members,

Both the rubrics have immense value as far as our prescriptions are concerned. They are very strong generals. Before going to the rubrics proper, let's differentiate among the following two expressions :
  • DESIRE TO DRINK WATER

  • DISPOSITION TO DRINK WATER

For the first, it is strongly associated with one's thirst; for the second it MAY not be related with someone's thirst, but rather a tendency or propensity to have water although he may not be thirsty.

The same is true for the rubrics concerned. A desire for ejaculation is strongly felt by the patient only for his own biological pleasure. He wants ejaculation by any means. It may not always be related with coition. It may matter little to him to bother for his partner. Its like, “just have it and that's all.”

On the other hand, a disposition to masturbate is rather like a habit. He cannot distract himself from practicing it in a regular interval. It surely gives him pleasure, but here the habit of doing it is of first priority. This very symptom is of immense value if he is having a very satisfied sexual relation with his partner but still cannot restrict himself to masturbate in solitude regularly.

This is my understanding. Dear members, please share your views also.

.................ARINDAM

The 1st rubric entirely relates to the passion for ejaculation , in the whole process of sexual activities, while the 2nd rubric relates to the patient, with passion for masturbation, as a whole process of his sexual activities.

1. MALE GENITALIA/SEX - EJACULATION - desire for

a mental agony for a  physical process resulting mental & physical gratification..

2. MALE GENITALIA/SEX - MASTURBATION; disposition to

a mental thinking with a power to control over the process mentaly as well as spritualy..

Thanks to all learned colleagues.
Thank you Claudia.
