Antisocial personality disorder
Antisocial personality disorder is a psychiatric condition in which a person manipulates, exploits, or violates the rights of others. This behavior is often criminal.
Personality disorders are long-term (chronic) patterns of behaviors and relationships that interfere with a person's life over many years.
The cause of antisocial personality disorder is unknown. Genetic factors and child abuse are believed to contribute to the development of this condition. People with an antisocial or alcoholic parent are at increased risk. Far more men than women are affected. The condition is common in prison populations.
Fire-setting and cruelty to animals during childhood are linked to the development of antisocial personality.
A person with antisocial personality disorder:
• Breaks the law repeatedly
• Lies, steals, and fights often
• Disregards the safety of self and others
• Does not show any guilt
Exams and Tests
To receive a diagnosis of antisocial personality disorder, a person must have shown behaviors of conduct disorder during childhood.
People with antisocial personality disorder may have the following signs:
• Anger and arrogance
• Capable of acting witty and charming
• Good at flattery and manipulating other people's emotions
• Substance abuse and legal problems
Antisocial personality disorder is one of the most difficult personality disorders to treat. People with this condition rarely seek treatment on their own. They may only start therapy when required to by a court.
The effectiveness of treatment for antisocial personality disorder is not known.
Outlook (Prognosis)
Symptoms tend to peak during the late teenage years and early 20's. They may improve on their own by a person's 40's.
Possible Complications
Complications can include imprisonment and drug abuse.

• Your child shows behaviors of this disorder

Amazing article almost completed every nook and corner of the topic. A rubric Wicked disposition if suits in we may add into this amazing collection, the remedies are : Cocc, Cubeba, Nux vom, Nat mur, Anac, Curare, hura, Kali n.

Thanks Vikas.

Miasmatic background -- Mostly Syphilitic, destructive.

Syco- Syphilitic Nilanjana.
Yes obviously there are different combinations. No miasm exists alone nowadays.

Nilanjana ~ Please explain more about the mixture of miasms. Thank you.

Dr Rajneesh ~ Incredible compilation of rubrics. What ever inspired you to research this topic?

I believe each one could be expounded upon to understand further the meaning and language.

Out of all of them, how about this one that shows only one remedy: Running away overnight - Puls. Strange there is only one remedy. What is happening here? Someone is waiting for dark of night, to slip away, under cover? Or, this hour especially frightening, lonely, what?

@ Debby,

Miasms, the fundamental cause of chronic diseases, used to exist singly at the time of Hahnmann. ( as he said) There were  combinations too. i.e. sycopsoric, sycosyphilitic, psoro-syco-syphilitic, etc. These are the mixed miasmatic states which produces different types of illnesses.

A patient with tuberculosis will have pulmonary primary tuberculosis if he is psoric, or prosa predominates him.

If sycotic, he might be having lymph node enlargments due to tuberculosis.

If syphilitic, he might have cold abscesses.

It is not the diseases that have miasm as many characterises them as.

It is the person whose miasm predominates and the illness takes its form.

This is what is taught in Kolkata from ages. And whosoever understands this excels in homoepathy.

Very good understanding Dr. Basu. Congrates.
Thank you Dr.Rajneesh

Dea Debby, I shall prepare an article on Miasms and will soon publish that. As far as the inspiration to write an article on antisocial personality is concerned, I has been victim of Dacoity (Robbery) in my house three years ago. Nine masked antisocial persons invaded the residence through the window and at gun points, looted all the possessions of our home.

They all were captured within a month after a great toil and sent to judicious kept. Last month, they all were convincted by the jury and sent to rigorous emprisonment for ten years. During this course of three years, I faced them several times in courts of Law and jail. I deeply analyzed their personalities and noted down their features. Took help of the references given in article and prepared that article.

As far as the rubric- running away overnight is concerned, that is adopted from Repertory as shown in picutre below, it means his anxiety which is aggravated indoors, desire for open air, which ameliorates and better with exertion.
- FORSAKEN FEELING, often expressed in the need for attention. They do anything to fulfil this need. Better, open air, motion.

incredible story from you Dr Rajneesh. I hope all is well. It can be traumatic event.
